OUR SERVICES

Our Services

The Veteran Business Academy process is unique in that we don't charge upfront fees for qualifying participants. We believe in establishing long-term relationships with our academy participants that aligns with future success.

The Academy provides coaching through a combination of in-person work in Montana, local workshops in select sites across the United States, and virtual one-on-one sessions.

The Academy's work will focus on providing structured coaching in two key areas: Skills Transfer and Leadership.

Skills Transfer

The change from a life in military or security services to civilian life can seem challenging. Past experiences and traumas often unknown to most civilians along with a set of skills learned over years in the field may make you feel alienated from civilian and business life.

The reality is that each veteran is equipped with more relevant skills than they may realize. Our coaching focuses on understanding and articulating these skills for application and success in the business world.

Leadership

In business, service, and life, leadership is a critical and valuable skill. The Veteran Business Academy helps build candidates' leadership capabilities in a business context through our three pillars of leadership

Pillar #2: Cohesion, Acceptance, and Tolerance

Leadership by division is not leadership at all. True leadership is for all, not just the few or the favored. We emphasize the importance of inclusion and tolerance in leadership as, ultimately, the success of a vision and a mission are what counts. The responsibility of the leader is to achieve success as a whole and not as an individual.

Pillar #1: Communication

In a world of short attention spans and loud headlines, good leaders stand above the noise and empower their team members to know where they're going and how to get there through a common, shared vision.

Pillar #3: Courage

To lead is to take a stand, sometimes in the face of criticism or headwinds, and to know that when mistakes are made, you take ultimate responsibility. To take a stand requires courage, one of the most important characteristics of sound leadership.

Let the Veteran Business Academy help you find your inspiration for business.
